I like this high growth stock that sells the machinery used to build high tech stuff. It is like the iconic “sell pickaxes during a gold rush”.

hey , found your blog again.. i remember you buying BIDZ and seeing that sucker go down lol. you still have the 40% strategy in place? i saw you bought alibaba as well. me too.. it’s been good!

    Hi Andrew,
it’s great to hear from you again!
I still do the “40% strategy”.
Now I own more than 100 free stocks that way, although some like BIDZ went belly up.
I just added one more little “trick” when I sell: the “trailing stop order”.
When my stock is up 40% I put a 5% “trailing stop order”.
That means that, if the stock goes 5% down, it is automatically sold. If it continues going up it is not sold until it loses a 5%. If it goes a lot up, I change the order to a 10% trailing stop.

congrats… key is consistency. don’t fully share your strategy, but we don’t need to :-). that’s the beauty of it.

hey btw, spotify, airbnb, and Xiaomi are coming as IPOs

Sounds very interesting. I found this “Renaissance IPO ETF” which should make it less complex to invest in all those IPOs

That’s cool. When did you buy Alibaba?
I think I’m interested in Xiaomi out of that lot
